Shipping policy

We are just as excited as you are to receive your product(s) and we do everything possible on our end to make the order processing, production times, and delivery of product as short as possible and as affordable as possible.

Due to varying circumstances that are out of our control (natural disasters, holidays, weather, demand, supply chain issues, and so forth) there may be delays. While most packages will arrive within 7-12 days, there may be circumstances and delays that our carriers may experience. For this reason, we do not guarantee the exact delivery time; the delivery issue is the responsibility of the shipping company.

Shipping methods In general, we use trusted carriers such as the United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), FedEx, and/or DHL.

Note: Order processing times are separate from the shipping times they see at checkout. All orders are processed within 2-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. At any time, potential delays due to a high volume of orders or transit delivery service problems that are outside of our control can arise and we will notify you as soon as we are able if there is an unforeseen problem with order processing, production, and/or delivery.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 12 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at email address: Hello@EarthAdventuresForKids.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

We offer flat rate shipping that is included in retail prices, so the price you see on our site store is the total price. If there is an unforeseen temporary surcharge on delivery and/or local taxes in your area, etc. we will notify you during checkout. We try to keep surprise costs to a minimum, but local issues and delivery transit service issues are outside of our control.

Priority and Expedited Shipping is offered in limited ways at this time, with options given at checkout. We are seeking to expand these options, and will update our Shipping Policy as soon as these additional options are available to our customers. Priority and expedited shipping options are extra charges and these amounts will show at checkout. Note: Order processing and production times will be the same, however, and only the delivery part of your order will be expedited.

I JUST PLACED AN ORDER, WHEN WILL IT SHIP? Please allow 2 - 5 business days of processing and production time for your order to ship out. Weekends and holidays may affect the production and delivery time.

HOW LONG IS THE SHIPPING TIME?

Generally, U.S. orders will be shipped either thru USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

Average transit times to the United States from our domestic warehouse: 2-5 Business days

WILL I RECEIVE A TRACKING NUMBER?

We provide tracking for every order. Tracking will be available once your product is shipped. Each individual product may be shipped from different fulfillment centers across the globe as our product research team spends the time to source for quality yet affordable products.

SHIPPING FOR RETURN + REFUND POLICY – We have a “No Returns – All Sales Final" policy. Please read it in the footer section of our site. .

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

On physical products, you are able to cancel your order with no penalty! You must cancel your order within 24 hours after creating it for the cancellation to be applied. If the item has already shipped, please email us at: Hello@EarthAdventuresForKids.com. All you need to do is send us an email with the subject line "CANCEL" and briefly explain the reason for cancellation.

NOTE: There are no cancellations on digital downloads as they are non-returnable and delivered immediately.

I HAVE ENTERED AN INCORRECT ADDRESS!

If you have misspelled or auto filled your address incorrectly, simply reply to your order confirmation email and give us the correct information. Notify us immediately via email at Hello@EarthAdventuresForKids.com. If the address is wrong, we can correct this within 24 hours.

MY ITEM ARRIVED DAMAGED

If this happens to you, WITHIN 48 HOURS, please contact us at email address Hello@EarthAdventuresForKids.com with the following: 1) Your order number. 2) Multiple pictures of the damaged product. We will forward the information to our manufacturer for a replacement.

Note: Our shipping policy is a flexible document for our business, that is updated and adjusted as our operations and circumstances change—especially when the unexpected forces us to adapt such as supply chain issues, corona virus/pandemic restrictions, demand, and weather.

What is a shipping policy?

A shipping policy is a set of terms created by an online retailer that describes how orders are shipped to the customer. Shipping policies typically include domestic and international shipping speed options, shipping costs, estimates for order processing time, and more.

In general, what should be included in a shipping policy? This is dependent on current business operations, delivery transit providers, production company schedule, and supply chain. The goal is to be transparent with customers so they understand costs, timeframes, challenges, and so forth.

As 2020 brought unforeseen shipping delays and increased carrier costs, it's more important than ever to keep shipping policies up to date with the following key points in mind: 

  • Order processing times. After an order is placed, how many days will it take to get it ready to ship? Weekends and/or holidays, certain cutoff times for processing orders (e.g. orders received after 5pm will be processed the next business day) can affect delivery times.
  • Supply Chain Issues. If changes occur within your supply chain, due to peak periods or as a result of COVID-19, you should update your processing times to reflect it.
  • Shipping Zones. Domestic and international shipping options. We only do business in USA currently, and there are differing shipping zones. Costs depend upon where delivery address is and where product is fulfilled.
  • Shipping costs. Break down shipping costs for the customer. If you have a free shipping threshold, you can communicate in various places as an incentive for customers. Any potential surprise fees should be surfaced too, such as duties and taxes the customer may incur. Some states and municipalities in USA have certain delivery taxes.
  • Potential service interruptions. Orders may take longer to arrive due to variables outside of your control. The shipping policy page is where details are communicated regarding approximately how much longer delivery can take and explain to customers why.
  • Updates on Shipping Policy. It is not uncommon to update your shipping policy every few months, especially whenever you add new shipping options or carriers, expand your fulfillment network, or anticipate delays.
  • Communicating shipping speeds at checkout to your customers can help clarity and transparency and increase consumer confidence. Timely arrival is paramount to customer satisfaction.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. If one of our carriers falls into this group, we will communicate their policies here.

When we’re anticipating shipping delays or a higher volume of orders, one of the most effective ways to be transparent with customers is by communicating this through our website announcement bar. These banners that typically appear at the top of our online store can offer shipping current info and notices.

Temporary Delivery/Transit Surcharges During special times, such peak holiday delivery times, certain delivery/transit services may add on a temporary surcharge.

Current Shipping Timeframes should be presented in the shipping options at checkout communicating specific delivery details.
